Recaps....

2022 - The annual Meet the Candidates picnic was a huge success! We very much appreciated and enjoyed having state and local candidates speak with us. It meant a lot that Senator Dick Blumenthal, Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, Attorney General William Tong, State Representative Mary Welander, State Senator James Maroney, Probate Judge Ben Gettinger, and candidates Sean Scanlon, Stephanie Thomas, Erick Russell, and Mike Smith took the time to come to Orange. We're proud to support them and are confident in their abilities to help usher CT, New Haven County, and Orange into the future!

In 2020 and 2021, buoyed by Biden's presidency and people wanting covid-safe fun community activities, the picnic was a big success. With speakers including candidates, local elected officials, and CT's U.S. Congressional leaders, plus yummy food catered by Lasse's (who adapted quite well to new serving standards), and the ever-popular raffle - it was the place to be!
