The ODTC is a welcoming, energetic group working together to support and strengthen our community, schools, facilities, and services. We'd like to know about your interests and skills. We’ll help you use them to play a role in shaping local governance and everyday life. Now is a great time to get informed, get engaged, and be part of positive change. Join the ODTC

New members are elected January of even years or when openings arise. Members join monthly meetings, take part in committees, support fundraisers, help during elections, and make new friends! Get in touch today.

Orange & Beyond

While our primary focus is helping Orange move forward, we also mobilize to support Democratic candidates at the state and national levels. And, together with friends and family, we rally, write postcards, and more - to vigorously defend our democracy.

FAQs

Is the ODTC committee active aside from election time?

​Yes, we're involved in fun and meaningful community events throughout the year, from hosting fundraisers to participating in our town's hallmark events, including the Orange Country Fair and more. 

Can I volunteer without becoming a member?

Yes! At election time there’s lots to do, and there are ways to help throughout the year. We welcome your involvement at any time, and give you the opportunity to leverage your skills and interests.

How can I get involved during election season? ​​
  • Plan and participate in fundraising events

  • Phone-bank to for candidates

  • Write postcards

  • Canvass - door-knock, distribute literature, drive candidates

  • Provide support behind-the-scenes
