Join the ODTC to help shape the governance of Orange and advance Democratic policies in our town and state. We're a vibrant group that enjoys working together to achieve shared goals. Volunteering is a great way to leverage your interests, skills and availability to make a difference.

How to Become a Member
Members are elected by registered Democrats in Orange via an in-person caucus or meeting held in January of EVEN years. However, currently, there are vacancies based on changes in member status and we are presently accepting new members. If interested in joining, contact ODTC Chair Jody Dietch (email or 203-314-9975).

What does being a member involve?
Membership expectations include attending monthly meetings, fundraisers, and campaigning during elections. Learn more about our mission and meetings.
Ways to get involved during election season:

Is the committee active aside from election time?
​Yes, we're involved in fun and meaningful community events throughout the year, from hosting fundraisers to participating in our town's hallmark events, including the Orange Country Fair and more.

Can I volunteer without becoming a member?
Yes! At election time there’s lots to do, and there are ways to help throughout the year. We welcome your involvement at any time.​​
