Doug Fenichel
Plan and Zoning
Doug and his wife Karen chose Orange as their home to be close to family. A retired public relations professional, Doug counseled business executives about the importance of listening to stakeholders and acting with integrity. Much of his work was in the homebuilding industry.
Doug is currently a firefighter with the Orange Volunteer Fire Department and a paramedic working in a local hospital ER. Aside from volunteer work and doting on his grandchildren, Doug is an avid pickleball player.
Doug is excited about the opportunity to serve on the Plan & Zoning Commission because he has first-hand understanding of the importance of wisely using the town’s most finite resource – land – to keep Orange beautiful and thriving.
